An intravenous (IV) iron infusion is a procedure where iron medication is administered into your vein via a cannula. Iron infusions are a quick, effective procedure to treat iron deficiency anaemia and chronic conditions that can cause low iron levels. Iron infusions (Ferinject®) are available at Queen St Medical Centre for eligible patients.
