Dr Inga Atrens

Inga Atrens graduated from the University of Queensland in 1999, and completed her General Practice specialisation in Gympie, Townsville and Brisbane. Inga is passionate about General Practice, especially the privilege of getting to know patients and their families over time. She has a particular interest in preventative medicine. She also enjoys paediatrics, and is aligned with the Mater Mother’s Hospital for shared antenatal care. Inga has more than a decade of experience in Travel Medicine, and has attained the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM) Certificate in Travel Health. Inga is known for her warm and gentle approach. When not at work Inga enjoys spending time with her son, husband and puppy. They love camping and hiking, as well as reading and relaxing together.
